AI LinkedIn Content That Sounds Human: Workflow, Prompts & Edits
Use AI for LinkedIn posts without generic tone: brand voice training, post-type selection, human edit checklist, and banned phrases that kill dwell time.
AI is a draft engine—not a publisher
The fastest teams use AI for variants and structure; humans add stakes, numbers, and opinion. That's how you keep dwell time high.
Workflow (5 steps)
- Import voice — Paste past posts in voice lab.
- Pick post type — Story, advice, question—not "general post."
- Generate 3 angles — Neurogatty AI compares hooks.
- Human edit checklist (below) — 3 minutes minimum.
- Publish + comment sprint — First 30 minutes matter for reach.
Human edit checklist
- [ ] First line could not apply to any company
- [ ] One number, date, or name added
- [ ] Removed: "In today's world," "Let's dive in," "game-changer"
- [ ] Read aloud—any sentence you'd skip on a podcast? Cut it.
- [ ] CTA asks for specific experience
Prompt the topic, not the vibe
Weak topic: "Write about leadership." Strong topic: "The day I stopped doing 1:1s weekly and switched to async updates—team NPS went up 12 points."
Specificity in → specificity out.
When to avoid AI entirely
- Crisis communication
- Sensitive HR / legal topics
- Deeply personal grief or joy (unless you write every word)
